It's an iPhone photo, so yeah

Hello Lovelies!
Well, to put it simply, I'm done with this photography project. I started it because I was in a pandemic induced photography rut, and quite frankly, it has done noting to cure that. In fact, it has made me feel worse about my photography, because I'm not able to be out shooting the things I love to shoot. That means that I'm taking a photo each week because I have to for the project, but it isn't necessarily a photo I love, and it certainly isn't a photo I want in my portfolio.  Therefore, the project isn't really accomplishing what I set out for it to accomplish. So, I'm done with it.
I'm also letting go of all the restrictions I put on my photography for this project, such as only posting in square format on Instagram. That has been quite the PITA and I'll be glad to be rid of that constraint. As it stands I'm still unable to travel and photograph the things I love, so it may be a while before I start populating this space and Instagram for that matter, with anything photography related.  I mean, I'm sure I'll be taking snapshots, and you'll likely find those on my Instagram stories and/or Mine & Brandon's Instagram account
So yeah, today (May 25th) is my birthday and over the course of this weekend I decided that I should let go of the things that stress me (at least those I have control over), and just enjoy my life. This project stresses me, so it has to go. But I did start a new tradition (if you will) of taking a photo of myself or having one done each year on my birthday. The photo above is this year's snapshot, via my iPhone. This pandemic has been damn hard on my body (and mind), and I have the wrinkles and silver (not grey but shiny silvery white!) hair to prove it!
Anyway, until next time, make sure you are following me on Instagram and Twitter and remember to be kind, be loving, be better, & stay safe!
