This Sunday, Mother’s Day, we were able to get outside for several walks.
Though it was still a little chilly, it was for the most part sunny, so we took advantage of it. We went for several smaller walks around our neighborhood, and one almost hour long walk along the waterfront. It really was so nice to be out in the fresh air and sunshine. I feel like I write that line a lot lately. Hmm, oh well, it still holds true each and every time.
The trees are coming alive, the grass is getting greener, and the flowers are starting to bloom. I’m loving it, though my allergies aren’t quite as excited about Spring as I am. It’s ok, that’s what they make antihistamines for, right? So yeah, there’s a section of the waterfront that has this grassy area with picnic tables and these gorgeous old trees. I loved how the dark branches looked with all the little buds and leaves poking out, contrasted against the blue skies above. It really caught my attention, and therefore became the subject of this week’s project photo.
Spring may take longer to arrive living up North, but perhaps that makes it all the more enjoyable once it’s finally here. Perhaps. Anyway, until next time, make sure you are following me on Instagram and Twitter and remember to be kind, be loving, be better, & stay safe!
